This book is wonderfully written, informative, engaging and full of interesting documentation and personal stories. I would recommend it to anyone with a history of trauma. It is very inspirational and gives great examples and practical tools for transforming painful experiences into personal growth. The book full of inspiring interviews and scientific research. The key message is that we can find resilience within ourselves. Happiness is possible, no matter what hardships and trauma we have experienced. The author interviewed prisoners and veterans with severe traumatic experiences, yet found them resilience to become stronger and emerge into strength and love. These skills can be learned. This book can help to teach these skills. I would highly recommend this book for people who have experienced trauma and who continue to struggle because of their experiences.

I would recommend this book to anyone who suffers from anxiety or depression. It is a great start towards a healthy mental state.
